First time to Matta Fair!

MATTA FAIR Posted by Hello the entrance fee is RM3/person

This is the first time i went to MATTA Fair (a 'pesta' where all the travel agencies gather in a same place, compete against each other for customers by attracting them with special rate of trip packages, which in fact benefiting us,the consumer! =p)

The MATTA fair is held at PWTC from 11-3-2005 till 13-3-2005. During this 3 days, u can enjoy some special discount or rebate if u book or register the trip on the spot. That's why the fair every year attracting over million people visiting it. Everyone wishes to get some valueble package and go for a trip !

Today after LAN class, me,Sherlyn and Lily (YES,we 3 again..=p we want to go there to get some information as we going to organize a trip after this semester) straightaway drove to PWTC by OUR own...because we didn't know the way....well...we just followed the road sign...and...well...we reached our destination safely..haha..thank godness!

There is 2 floors for the pasta. The lower floor is for travelling overseas, the upper floor is for travelling inside the country. Our budget is limited, thus we straightaway went up to the 2nd floor...(although i really wish to go Taipei and i have noticed a really very attractive promotion by one agent company)

When we stepped into the hall, we were shock to see that there are really a lot of booths,a lot of agent company and a lot of people! Before we could say something, we were stuffed all different kinds of brochures by the employer of the travel agencies. We just kept on saying thank you thank you and hardly could move forward. But we did find some valueble packages for going beaches (Pulau Redang, Pulau Perhentian etc ).

I always want to board on a cruise!! Although there are 30%-40% discount for all the cruise trips, but still appear to be a little unaffordable for us as students...well sure got chance next time ;>

No more going Kota Kinabalu for trip, at least not with the classmates, as some of their parents don't allow them to climb the Mount Kinabalu. What's the point of going KK without climbing the mountain? so we change our initial plan and organize a trip to east cost beach.

Hmm..i would say we have gathered a lot of information today!! But all 3 of us are 'big head' now...fuzzy...dont know which package to choose....according to econs law: the price of a product increases, the quantity demand of the product decreases...so we have to pick the most valueble and at the same time the cheapest trip in order to attract all our classmates able to go!!

And that's the hardest part.
